Cavalry’s Shield chase comes home Sunday
Cavalry FC hosts Vancouver FC at 2 p.m. Sunday at ATCO Field with the Canadian Premier League Shield within reach. Cavalry and Forge FC enter the final day level on 57 points, with total wins and head-to-head results also tied; Calgary holds the advantage on goal difference after beating Pacific FC 4-2 last weekend.
Vancouver is fighting FC Supra du Québec for the league’s final playoff position, while a Cavalry Shield would secure the first playoff seed, home-field advantage and a place in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.
